Eixo is named after the Portuguese word for axis, directly inspiring its design. Two flat aluminum plates slot into one another at a right angle, allowing the pieces to interconnect and hold together in a clean, visual way.

The sculpture plays with the tension between perfect geometry and organic forms—the interlocking joint is a sharp right angle, while the outer silhouette curves into a soft, irregular shape. This graphic layout is balanced by the brushed, matte finish of the metal, making it an inviting, versatile object for everyday spaces, whether anchoring a shelf setup or a quiet sideboard.
